This happens to everyone. You mock draft, you have all sorts of assurances and then the Draft order comes out. You got the last pick!
I also got the last pick, and I have been combing through research trying to devise the perfect strategy.
Based on different mocks I have done, the end of the 3rd and beginning of the 4th is loaded with talented Wide Receivers. Therefore, with your first 2 picks go running back and double down with the likes of Joe Mixon and Todd Gurley (if Todd is gone go for Nick Chubb)
With Joe Mixon you're getting a guaranteed top 10 back with no competition for touches and a steady floor week to week. With Todd Gurley you get upside of a #1 Back with hysteria surrounding him, making his ADP fall rapidly (just make sure you take Darrell Henderson).
At wide receiver there should be the likes of Brandin Cooks, Stefon Diggs, or Amari Cooper, waiting for you at the end of the 3rd and beginning of the 4th.
Make sure in the next round you are getting one of either OJ Howard or Evan Engram as their upside is enormous.
With that core you should be able to fill out the rest of your team comfortably.
